For me, that's a great thing.The Song ” Stay Away From My Friends” by one of my favorite bands Pierce The Veil, leaves a very strong message behind it’s lyrics. Which brings me to another positive point: they have progressed into a heavier band through the years. There is a live video of them playing Caraphernelia without Jeremy McKinnon and there's a scream in the middle reminiscent of Atreyu. Also, when they play some heavier songs his screaming can be pretty visceral. It's too high for me to appreciate when it's sugar-coated on an album, but live it's pretty good. I think his voice works a lot better live. And they are genuine things I like a lot about the band.

Other people are turned away by this, but I like Coheed so I can deal with that falsetto shit as long as its not too screechy and whiney. (And I dislike that story.)
